Claire Griffon is a French industrial designer now living in Paris. Trained as a material science engineer at INSA-Lyon, she discovered product design while taking part in INSA’s ‘Arts-Plastiques-Etudes’ section. She graduated from the Industrial Design Engineering course at the Royal College of Art, in London, in 2002.

Her portable barbecue was spotted at the RCA degree show and taken to manufacture, then sold in prestigious spots such as The Conran Shop. In 2003, L’Oreal was the first to take a chance on her unusual educationnal profile.
